Despite being charged in connection with Matthew Perry’s death, Jasveen Sangha, a drug dealer known as the “Ketamine Queen,” according to federal authorities, has no connection to Matthew Perry—at least not according to her counsel.
Sangha is represented by Mark Geragos’s company, and on Wednesday morning, he appeared on “Today” and attempted to set Sangha apart from the late “Friends” actor, who passed away from a ketamine overdose.
When asked how Sangha and Matthew ever became acquainted, Geragos angrily denied any connection between them, stating categorically… “She isn’t connected to Matthew Perry at all.”
Federal authorities assert that Sangha, one of five persons charged in connection with Matthew’s death, saw herself as a “celebrity drug dealer with high-quality goods,” specifically ketamine.
But Geragos claims that people are attempting to portray Sangha as “something that she isn’t” and that there is still more to the story that will be revealed in court.
Sangha’s trial is scheduled for March, and it will be interesting to watch the arguments put out by her defense team.
