Tom Cruise’s payment for his spectacular feat at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris is shown here.

At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Tom Cruise performed his famous Hollywood trick for free.

During the CNBC x Boardroom: Game Plan discussion on Tuesday at the Fairmont Miramar hotel in Santa Monica, California, the “Top Gun” star’s involvement was highly praised by Casey Wasserman, president and chairman of the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.

He immediately boarded a plane after wrapping up “Mission: Impossible” filming in London at six o’clock. The Hollywood Reporter reported that the industry executive stated, “He landed in LA at 4 a.m. and filmed the scene where he pulls onto a military plane.”

In the end, Wasserman performed the prerecorded act for free, praising that “every step of the way, [Cruise] got more involved and more engaged.”

We feel as though we won’t be able to accomplish this. Four hours will be allotted for filming. We’ll take care of it. He’ll pass it along with the Hollywood sign and be done. The remainder will just be a stunt double, and maybe we’ll get the other stuff. After the presentation for about five minutes, Cruise says, “I’m in.” He recalled, “But I’m only doing it if I get to do everything.”

When the 62-year-old actor wrapped up the Olympics in Paris on August 11 and passed the torch to Los Angeles, the site of the next Summer Games, he surprised the world.

After jumping from the top of Stade de France, Cruise landed in the stadium and picked up the Olympic flag.

After accepting the flag from Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and LA Mayor Karen Bass, he rode through the streets of Paris and boarded an aircraft near the Eiffel Tower.

Later in the film, the movie star was shown skydiving to the renowned Hollywood sign, flying the symbolic flag to California, and then decorating it with the well-known five-colored Olympic rings.

“I’m grateful, Paris! At that time, he wrote on X, “Now off to LA.”

Cruise has not yet made his plans for the death-defying stunt public.

But according to TMZ, he was the one who had approached the committee and indicated that he would like to participate in the closing ceremony.

The Oscar candidate was earlier spotted in July at a women’s gymnastics competition.

At the time, he told Reuters, “It’s awesome.” “Excellent athletes, wonderful story. Their sense of success is astounding, given what they have to accomplish.

Cruise was one of many celebrities, such as Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, who traveled to the City of Love to witness America win the most medals.
