Metallica has added more North American tour stops for 2025, making their M72 world tour longer. Bands like Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies will play at some stops, and Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills are planned for other times.
The 2025 run will begin in Las Vegas on April 12 and end in Denver on June 29. As has always been the case with the M72 tour, some stops will have two shows in the same city. Other stops, like festival visits, will only have one show in that city.
Tickets go on sale to the public on September 27, but there will be several presales before then.
Read on for the full schedule, and visit Metallica’s website for more information on how to buy tickets.
Metallica’s Sales of Tickets
Pollstar released a list in 2022 of the artists whose performance tickets had sold the most since 1981. With over 19 million tickets sold, Metallica came in at number nine. But they sold more tickets than any other metal band, and it’s not likely that things have changed since then.
According to Touring Data, the M72 tour sold over 1.1 million tickets in 2023 alone, for a reported revenue of over $125 million.
