Brian May’s health has changed. The Queen guitarist was taken to the hospital after having a small stroke and losing control of his arm.

Great musician and co-founder of the rock band Queen, Sir Brian May, shared some scary health news with his fans: he had a “minor stroke” that stopped him from playing guitar and sent him to the hospital right away.

But May told his friends that he was getting better.

In a video shared to Instagram earlier today, May, 77, revealed he suffered a “health hiccup” a week ago that was diagnosed as a “minor stroke.”

“All of a sudden, I couldn’t move this arm.” “I have to say it was a little scary,” May said.

It makes sense that one of rock’s most famous guitarists would be very worried about losing control of his arm. Luckily, May reassured his fans that he can still play.

May said, “The good news is that I can play guitar now that the last few days are over.” He said that the English Frimley Park Hospital gave him great care after they rushed him there in an ambulance.

After the stroke, the rock star said he had been told to “do nothing” and rest at home for now. May says he didn’t want to make a big deal out of it and doesn’t want “sympathy,” but a lot of fans left comments to wish him well.

Someone wrote, “Sending lots of love, Brian.”

“Oh no, I’m glad to see you’re okay now.” “Pal, please take care of yourself,” someone else said.

May has already been through a big health scare: in 2020, he had a “small heart attack.”

Brian May is a rock music legend. He is best known for being the lead guitarist and founding member of the classic rock band Queen. A lot of Queen’s biggest hits, like “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Keep Yourself Alive,” and “Don’t Stop Me Now,” were driven by his guitar solos.

He also wrote a lot of Queen’s most famous songs, like “The Show Must Go On,” “We Will Rock You,” and “Fat Bottomed Girls.”

Queen took a break after Freddie Mercury’s death, and May appeared as a solo artist. But they got back together and are still touring with Adam Lambert as their new lead singer. Even after all these years, Queen’s music still has new fans. Their story was told in the Oscar-winning 2018 movie Bohemian Rhapsody, on which May worked as an adviser.

May is a musician, but he also has a PhD in astrophysics and started the animal welfare group Save Me, which has fought against fox hunts and the killing of badgers in the UK.

May has won a lot of awards. In 2001, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Queen, and in 2018, the band got the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

May got a big award last year when King Charles III made him a knight.

He’s one of the greatest rock musicians of all time, and we’re glad to hear he’s doing well after his small stroke. We hope he gets better quickly and completely!
