On September 22, the Princess of Wales was spotted at a church service close to Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
Kate Middleton has made her first public appearance since announcing the end of her chemotherapy.
On Sunday, September 22, the 42-year-old Princess of Wales was spotted with her husband Prince William and other members of the royal family at a ceremony at Crathie Kirk Church, which is near Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
In photos published by The Sun, a British newspaper, Kate flashed a quick smile while seated beside William, the car’s 42-year-old driver.
William looked dapper in a dark suit, and the princess wore a wide-brimmed green hat with side feathers and a brown tartan coat. King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived to the church in separate cars, which was also seen on video.
Kate is appearing in public for the first time since announcing earlier this month that she has finished her chemotherapy treatment, which she had previously stated she was undergoing in March along with her cancer diagnosis.
In a moving video statement posted on September 9, Kate declared that her cancer treatment was now complete. She appeared in films with Prince William and their three children, six-year-old Prince Louis, nine-year-old Princess Charlotte, and eleven-year-old Prince George.
“The last nine months have been extremely tough for us as a family,” the princess said in the video, adding that she was “relieved” that her therapy was coming to an end. We had to learn how to navigate the choppy waters and unknown land since life as we know it can suddenly alter dramatically.
Everybody’s experience with cancer is different, terrifying, and unpredictable, especially for those closest to them. Above all, this period of time has reminded William and me to take stock of our blessings, be thankful for the little things in life that we frequently take for granted, and to stop and think about how fortunate we are. of simply experiencing and giving love.
Kate declared that she is “doing what I can to stay cancer-free” and that she will return to work “in the coming months when I can.”
