Two big brands are working together to make the best treat for anyone who loves sweets. Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s are working together to give customers free donuts. In a news release, the president and CEO of Krispy Kreme talked about why the company chose to work with McDonald’s.
This isn’t the first time this year that fast food has worked together. As of late, Wendy’s, Nickelodeon, and Paramount have joined forces to offer the Krabby Patty Kollab until November 3, 2024.

Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s Work Together
A joint press statement from Krispy Kreme and McDonald’s said that Josh Charlesworth said, “Every day, the number one request we get from customers is, ‘Please bring Krispy Kreme to my town.'” By working with McDonald’s across the country, our fans and doughnut lovers will have access to fresh doughnuts and the fun of Krispy Kreme every day like never before.
Some McDonald’s will sell three types of Krispy Kreme doughnuts: frosted, chocolate iced with sprinkles, and chocolate iced kreme-filled.
How to Get Krispy Kreme Donuts for Free
Chicagoans can get a free Krispy Kreme doughnut at some McDonald’s stores until October 14. Fans can get a free original glazed doughnut from Krispy Kreme if they bring a McDonald’s paper or digital ticket from October 10th to October 14th to any participating U.S. Krispy Kreme shop across the country. Each guest can only get one free doughnut.
How long will Krispy Kreme be at McDonald’s?
They want to offer this deal at 1,000 McDonald’s stores by the end of the year. In 2026, the final goal is for Krispy Kreme donuts to be sold at 12,000 McDonald’s restaurants.
