10:14 a.m. PT The Miami-Dade Police Department’s Director Stephanie V. Daniels tells TMZ that she is examining the incident’s specifics and body camera footage. We’ll share further details as soon as they become available.
Just hours before Miami’s kickoff on Sunday, Tyreek Hill, the best player on the Dolphins, was slammed on the ground and handcuffed. However, it looks like he will still participate in the game.
A video that has been making the rounds on social media shows the 30-year-old being approached by many law enforcement officers a short distance from Hard Rock Stadium, the site of the Fins’ game against the Jaguars on Sunday at 10 AM PT.

View the video… Hill was thrown face down onto the ground, and it appeared as though the officials were screaming at him.
Although Hill’s specific charges are currently unknown, the club released the following statement shortly after the incident: “Hill was pulled over for a traffic incident approximately one block from the stadium and was briefly detained by police.” Since then, he has been set free.”
“A number of colleagues observed the event and halted to provide assistance. Tyreek and all other participating players have made it to the stadium safely and are expected to play in today’s match.”
In fact, Hill is anticipated to take to the field in Miami in a few seconds to start preparations for his matchup with Jacksonville.
