Page Six has exclusive knowledge that Sean “Diddy” Combs is asking $61 million for his Beverly Hills property.
The opulent spread was reportedly being surreptitiously listed for sale by the hip-hop entrepreneur, but we’ve heard it’s officially going on sale today.
The transaction “comes as no surprise to insiders, despite the recent controversy surrounding the hip-hop mogul,” according to people close to the rapper of “I’ll Be Missing You.”
They contend that even though Combs has never been charged with anything, he had previously intended to sell the house, which Homeland Security raided in March as part of an investigation.
The upscale communities of Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills, and Bel-Air are included in the highly sought-after “Platinum Triangle” of Los Angeles, where the property is allegedly situated.
We’ve heard that the listing will soon appear on the Multiple Listing Service for real estate.
The home is along a stretch known as “Billionaire’s Row,” where nearby neighbors include the likes of Kylie Jenner, tech moguls Evan Spiegel and Sean Parker, music bigwigs Irving Azoff and Jimmy Iovine, fashion scion Alexandra Von Furstenberg and the legendary Playboy Mansion.
Diddy purchased the estate 10 years ago for $40 million.
The two-story mega-mansion on 1.3 acres includes 13,000 square feet of living space.
“A grand cobblestone driveway leads to the completely remodeled estate, which features classic European design elements,” reads the description. The property includes a huge living room, formal dining room, wine cellar, office, and gourmet kitchen with family room and separate catering kitchen, all of which are surrounded by natural light in an opulent paneled entry lobby with sweeping staircase.
Additionally, there is “a two-story guest house” with “a large gym, recording studio, and additional guest bedrooms,” in addition to a “state-of-the-art theater that seats 35 guests.”
A “resort-like swimming pool with a waterfall and grotto, a basketball court, spa house, and an outdoor loggia equipped with a BBQ, bar, and pizza oven” are among the “expansive lawns, mature trees, and formal gardens” that can be found outside.
“Combs established his primary residence on Star Island in Miami years ago,” a source said. The empty nester has chosen to sell the property now that his children have grown up, which is a big deal in LA real estate.
