The Zakk Wylde tour with Zoso, Iron Maidens, and Zakk Sabbath has been announced.

Later this year, Zakk Wylde will go on tour with his Black Sabbath cover band, Zakk Sabbath. Rob “Blasko” Nicholson on bass and Joey Castillo on drums will be on the band. Zoso, a tribute band to Led Zeppelin, and the Iron Maidens, a tribute band to Iron Maiden made up of women, will play as opening acts.

The 2024–25 King of the Monstours tour will start on December 1 in Phoenix and go through mid-January.

Zakk Sabbath has also put out a digital record called Greatest Riffs, which has songs from two of the band’s albums, 2020’s Vertigo and 2024’s Doomed Forever Forever Doomed.

The full list of tour dates and the order of the songs on Greatest Riffs are shown below.

When UCR recently talked to Wylde, he talked about the work he does with Zakk Sabbath. “I remember playing keg parties and people’s kitchens and basements, playing these songs when I was, like, 16 years old,” he added. “And here I am, 57 years old, and I’m still playing them, and I’m still in people’s basements and kitchens and backyard keg parties, but there’s just a couple more people there.”

All three bands pay respect to some of the most important figures in hard rock and metal history, so the guitarist should feel right at home on King of the Monstours. “If you’re a classical musician, you’re pretty much gonna know something by Bach, Beethoven and Mozart, like the big three,” said Wylde. “So if you want to be a rock musician—guitarist, bassist, drummer, keyboardist, or anything else—Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple are important bands to learn about.” You know a song by one of those guys just because you’re smart. “You learn how to play these songs.”
