Cheryl Hines and her spouse Robert F. Kennedy Jr. were seen in public together for the first time following the disclosure of the former presidential candidate’s purported infidelity scandal.
Exclusive photographs acquired by Page Six depict the couple visiting a residence following a brief Starbucks excursion in Malibu, California, on Saturday.
Hines maintained a casual appearance by wearing a black T-shirt and pants. She also omitted her wedding band for the excursion.
Last month, it was disclosed that Kennedy purportedly participated in an extramarital affair with writer Olivia Nuzzi following her article about him for New York magazine in November 2023.
Shortly after the connection became public, at least three additional women alleged that they had also engaged in romantic relationships with the notorious womanizer within the past year, all of whom he encountered through his anti-vaccine organization, Children’s Health Defense, according to Mediaite.
The incidents allegedly caused Hines to feel “embarrassed,” as per a source associated with the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress, albeit not for the anticipated reasons.
An insider said People earlier this week, “She is embarrassed due to his being caught.”
An insider informed the site that Hines and Kennedy, who married in August 2014, “have scarcely communicated” since suspicions of his romance with Nuzzi emerged in late September.
As previously reported, another source affiliated with Hines indicated that the actress is purportedly seeking to divorce Kennedy.
However, the source stated that Hines, a lifelong Democrat, was more distressed by his political alignment than by the purported infidelity following his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential election and endorsement of Donald Trump.
The individual is a habitual philanderer, and she was aware of this from the outset, the insider stated.
“She was aware she was becoming involved with a Kennedy, renowned for their notorious womanizing,” an insider remarked. “However, she never consented to become a member of Trump World!”
Kennedy disclosed to TMZ that Hines was displeased with his support, stating that the action was “contrary to her preferences.”
“This presents a significant challenge for Cheryl,” he stated. “She acquiesced because of her affection for me and her desire to be supportive, yet it was not something she ever advocated.” Her anxiety and uneasiness around this were the prevailing emotions.
